Our Flower Camping Olivigne in the Aude is just a stone’s throw from the Cesse at the place called “Lauriol Bridge”. During your walks, it is likely that you will find one of our many springs and resurgences that make the wealth of our commune. For example, going up the course of the Cesse you will discover picturesque bathing areas such as the“Spicy Water Causeway”whose sparkling water source has dried up. This swimming area is very popular both for its waterfall and for its deep and clear water.
Further upstream are the“Oules”,with its source of temperate water summer and winter“the Twelve”and its rocks as thrown in the middle of the stream that encourage sunbathing and lazing well from home. Arriving on the neighbouring town of Agel you will once again be able to cool off in the pots of theBoulidouwhere the water is very cool because it is here that our river resurfaces from the bowels of the earth where it had hidden, filtered and clear for more than 30 kilometers. La Cesse is classified in the 1st category of Ferrals-les-Montagnes in Minerva, then in 2nd category until the mouth of the Aude. This beautiful river of generous nature will make you want to tease the pike hidden between the reeds or the goats under this clear water. The kinds of fish are numerous such as: tanches, studs, barbels, roaches, minnows, ablettes, trout and other small eels. If you know how to catch the frog, then you have chosen the best spot but be careful not to miss the first… she will denounce you to her fellow men and you will only have to change places! Finally, for lovers of beautiful carp and catfish the Canal du Midi is only 4 kilometers from the campsite and 6 kilometers from the River of Aude.
